let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker

A
calendar month sometimes contains five Sundays. When this occurs, services on the fifth Sunday
take a slightly different form at St. Mary's Church. We
utilise this opportunity to experience different forms of worship. Sometimes we
revert to the Book of Common Prayer or we might, for example, offer worship
based on Taize, Iona or Methodist Covenant styles or use Moody and Sankey hymns
etc. By having an open heart and
mind, we are able to maximise these opportunities to experience different styles
of Christian worship and to discover which particular styles feed our own
spirituality the most.
As usual, these 5th Sunday Services are
followed by coffee in the Church Hall.
