Food and Fellowship

They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer - Acts 2.42

Between October and March, on the second Thursday of each month, we hold a Food and Fellowship evening in the Church Hall. The format for the evening is for members of the church family to enjoy a home cooked meal together, after which we listen to an invited guest speaker.

Talks have covered an enormously wide range of subjects, for example Greek philosophers, church music, life as an Archdeacon, forms of worship in Argentina, Anglican Religious Communities, round the world in faith, in the footsteps of St Paul etc etc. We have also been honoured to receive a talk from Bishop Kisembo (Bishop of Uganda) and his wife.

Details of Food and Fellowship gatherings are shown on the diary page.
