Bob Fry
loved his Lord and the contribution of his time to the church, wherever he was
living (Finchley, Felixstowe and Maulden) was something he felt strongly that he
wanted to make. At
St.
Mary’s Church, Bob was a Lay Reader, an outstanding preacher and a much loved
individual.

Bob and Sheila Fry |
All the books in Bob’s
personal collection of reading and study material, built up over many years,
were passed to the church after his death. These formed the foundation of the
library and the PCC members decided unanimously that it should be named in his
honour.
The catalogue has subsequently been added to; indeed, it is growing all the
time.
The library is situated in the
Vestry and is open before and after all the Sunday and Weekday Services as well
as throughout Quiet Hour on Wednesday Evenings.
If you are interested in
viewing the complete catalogue, visiting the library or borrowing anything from
it, please contact us.
