"Weave
the tunic of fine linen and make the turban of fine lines. The sash is
to be the work of an embroiderer" -
Exodus 28.39 |

St.
Mary's Sewing Group offers sessions of lively conversation and laughter plus
time and space to be creative with needle skills.
We meet on Wednesday
afternoons in the Church Hall and these gatherings have become an important part of our growth at
St. Mary's Church as, in a relaxed atmosphere, new friendships are made and
existing ones are strengthened.
Knitting and crochet are
enjoying quite a revival at the moment and, with the beautiful new yarns which
are now available, our members have made many attractive and fashionable items,
a number of which have been displayed in our 'Made in Maulden' exhibitions held
in the church. We
also provide embroidered cards and items for sale at our Christmas bazaar.
New members are always
welcome. Please contact us for
further details.
