Vision Statement

St Mary's Church exists to be a shining beacon of welcome in the village of Maulden, Bedfordshire:

• To bring every person to the love of Jesus Christ, regardless of age or background

• To help every person to develop his/her personal Christian ministry

• To provide a wide range of worship and wholesome social activity for everyone

• To show a perfect example of love, tolerance, warmth, commitment and generosity in our dealings with each other, with the local community and the wider world.

We do all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our Saviour.

With this vision in five years:

• St Mary's Church will be full of men, women and children of all ages and from all backgrounds who have experienced, or who are seeking to experience, the love, peace and joy of having Jesus Christ in their lives and who wish to hear the word of God

• The Church will be, and will be recognised as being, a place where people come together in unity to care for and to support each other and those throughout Maulden and the wider world.
